Compact upright pianos are around 100cm tall and achieve much for a smaller build. If you can increase budget and a little more space, you will find medium-height uprights at around 120cm provide an enchanting tone, broad expressive range and a more balanced feel in the action. Full height uprights around 130cm can be exceptional with a deeper bass tone and greater resonance coupled with more leverage in the touch.
