The Yamaha YUS3S boasts a rich, full and deep tone with an improved bass and extended dynamic range. The touch is more controlled and responsive due to the extra leverage in the key from tall capstan rods.

The taller frame of the 131cm Yamaha YUS3S delivers a range of substantial tonal gains over the equivalent quality YUS1 (121cm).

Based on the industry standard Professional U series, these refined models feature superior strings and hand-crafted grade hammer felt which further improve the resonance and tone.

I bought a Yamaha YUS5 upright in 2013, and ten years on it’s still going strong, and is playing better than ever, with the tone developing nicely. The service I received at the time was fantastic, including having the showroom to myself to evaluate the pianos.
