New upright and grand pianos are readily available from stock or to order, in a range of cabinet styles and finishes. Traditional styles with wood finishes and brass hardware, contemporary black or white with chrome hardware in place of brass.
Style differentials include: Leg styles often available are square taper with or without spade feet; turned; or cabriole. Uprights may feature a front leg under the keyboard (usually a necessity for stability when mid/large height models) or smaller models with or without a leg. The top lid may have a classic bevelled, chamfer or square edge; and the keyboard arms may be straight/angular, modern ellipse or classic curve.
