We are the official No.1 UK dealer for Yamaha pianos, Yamaha Piano's Top Yamaha Piano Dealer, Yamaha Main Dealer, Yamaha 'S' Series Stockist and Yamaha Grand Piano Centre. For details of models available, prices and helpful advice on Yamaha Pianos, please call us.

In 2001 only 50% of our trade was Yamaha Pianos. Now Yamaha Pianos have dominated the market and at least 90% of pianos on our floors are Yamaha. Yamaha pianos are now recognised and appreciated as a prestige quality instrument acclaimed for their unique consistency in tone, touch and built quality, and renowned durability and reliability.

Whilst most manufacturers may only have 2-5 upright pianos and 5 or 6 grands in their range, Yamaha Pianos have captured every price range and requirement to ensure the market is theirs. With 18 uprights available from: the budget range, Professional standard upright Yamaha Pianos to the superior 'S' series 'Hand-Crafted' Yamaha Pianos, plus the Yamaha 'Silent' Pianos and Yamaha 'Disklavier' Pianos upright and grand hybrid series Yamaha Pianos.

The affordable and now much improved GB1 Yamaha Piano (formerly GA1/GA1E) 4'11" baby grand piano, one of 12 models, has just received major refinements. The Conservatoire Yamaha Piano series ranges from 5'3" - 7'6" and is the choice of many prestigious institutions.

The 'S' series 'Handcrafted' grand Yamaha Pianos, S4B 6'3", S6B 6'11" and CFIIIS 9' Concert are top-drawer instruments with superb tonal contrast, clarity and depth with typically consistent dynamic range throughout.

The Yamaha Piano action is favoured for its medium weight and balanced touch with excellent response and repetition. Reliable and hard-wearing mechanics of the Yamaha Piano action and keyboard are just one of the many reasons why the majority of instititions choose Yamaha Pianos.

Did you know?

In 1900 Torakasu Yamaha built the first piano ever produced in Japan. Yamaha have been manufacturing grand pianos for over 100 years.

At the 12th Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition held in Moscow (regarded the most prestigious piano competition in the world) the majority of finalists and the overall winner selected the Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand for their performances.

The Caen Conservatoire National de Region in the northwest of France was the first of France's 34 Conservatoires National de Region to use blind testing for deciding the purchase of a concert grand. Four makers participated in the test: Yamaha, Steinway, Bosendorfer and Fazioli. The test performances were carried out on a stage completely blocked from sight by a curtain and a screen. After careful evaluation by a total of four judges, consisting of a professor from the Conservatoire, two pianists, and the conductor of a local orchestra, the Yamaha CFIIIS Concert Grand was chosen.

Negotiations in 2002 resulted in the favourable decision to use the Yamaha CFIIIS concert grands for the entire Porto International Music Competition held in Porto, Portugal from October 1 - 12. Bosendorfer pianos have been used at this competition in the past and feedback about the Yamaha pianos was very good.

Yamaha make all the parts themselves and in some cases, even the machines that make the parts. This proves to ensure better quality control as the entire production of the piano is by one manufacturer. This also results in more cost effective manufacturing due to the high volume of Yamaha pianos sold. Laser precision engineering and reduced third-party involvement in the manufacturing ensures each piano of the same model is almost identicle. Unlike other pianos, this is why so many buyers needn't select from several of the same model to find a 'good one'.

Some upright pianos are now assembled and finished by Yamaha-Kemble in the UK to satisfy the aesthetic and tonal preferences for the European market.
