October 2012 Marking Yamaha's 125 anniversary, the C3M has now been superseded by the completely new model Yamaha C3X featuring substantial refinements to the soundboard, ribs and beam design; music wire upgrade; soundboard upgrade; hammer felt upgrade. The result is a cleaner tone, improved sustain and projection with better clarity and depth. Performance and aesthetic features influenced by the incredible CF Premium concert pianos.
The Yamaha C3M is the industry standard 6'1" grand piano. The Yamaha C3 is used by the many institutions, tutors, students and in the home.
A much fuller tone, especially in the bass and lower mid registers, compared with the C2M.
