This professional series Yamaha U1 upright is famous amongst institutions, tutors, students and in the home.
Quality upright pianos over 120cm invariably sound so much better than those just under. A good bass, rich middle and clear treble with good dynamic range and responsive action make the Yamaha U1 piano so popular.
Note: The U1GQ is built in the UK to the same specification as the U1 built in Japan with one exception: The U1GQ has a Bavarian-spruce soundboard, and the U1 (Japan) has an Alaskan-spruce soundboard. Neither are superior to the other, but the tone is very slightly different. The Alaskan soundboard produces a smoother tone, and the Bavarian soundboard has more attack with more emphasis on 'mid' range frequencies.
Therefore, we recommend the P121G as a much better buy than the U1QG, as this piano is also built in the UK to exactly the same standard, with the Bavarian-spruce soundboard, in a slightly different style cabinet. Equal quality, components and performance - at a much lower price!

Nationwide Delivery Service

Your piano will be delivered on a scheduled run, where a delivery date is provided once the planning of the run has been finalised. The moving team will quote a morning/afternoon window and can also call you 1 hour before delivery if you require.
Stairs, tight turns, restricted access and non-mainland delivery can be arranged, with notice, at an additional cost.
If you are unsure about the possibility of a specific piano to be delivered, due to restricted access and/or stairwork, an on-site assesment service is available prior to delivery, at an additional charge.
Special Delivery Service: If you require a specific date and time for delivery, our moving team can provide a guaranteed date and time (accurate to 1 hour), at a higher rate. Please enquire for prices.
