The Yamaha GB1K is a smooth sounding baby grand with a tone quality that is far superior than its rivals.
Representing excellent value, this substantially improved Yamaha baby grand (introduced September 2004) supersedes the GA1/GA1E.
Formerly suffering from a hard tone and below average pronunciation in the lower mid registers, Yamaha have replaced the GA1/GA1E frame with the far superior A1L frame. This upgrade of such a core component of the Yamaha GB1K delivers a transformed rich and warm tone throughout, with very good pronunciation, despite its compact size.
In 2003 Yamaha applied the same substantial refinement to the budget 5'3" GP1, now GC1M, using the C1M Conservatoire series frame, with duplex scaling. Combined with the refinements to the budget 4'11", the GB1K and GC1M Grands are no longer of budget quality and comfortably sit much higher than the competition.
Yamaha have also introduced the attractive Polished Mahogany and Polished Amercian Walnut finishes for the Yamaha GB1K.

Your piano will be delivered on a scheduled run, where a delivery date is provided once the planning of the run has been finalised. The moving team will quote a morning/afternoon window and can also call you 1 hour before delivery if you require.
Stairs, tight turns, restricted access and non-mainland delivery can be arranged, with notice, at an additional cost.
If you are unsure about the possibility of a specific piano to be delivered, due to restricted access and/or stairwork, an on-site assesment service is available prior to delivery, at an additional charge.
