The Yamaha C5M grand piano is a subtle improvement over the hugely popular 6'1" C3M, yet not as popular. The Yamaha C5M has a little more depth in the middle and lower registers.

The difference in price and the additional amount of space required to accommodate this piano, relative to the slight improvement in performance is quite possibly why the C5M is the 'odd one out' in the Conservatoire series.

However, if you cannot accommodate the 6'11" C6M and want more than the 6'1" C3M, this is the next best.

The Yamaha C5M grand is suitable for studio, recording, small halls, institutions and space permitting - the home.

These Yamaha C series grand pianos can outperform many of the often more expensive new or reconditioned German instruments which may lack such precision engineering and modern design.

Stairs, tight turns, restricted access and non-mainland delivery can be arranged, with notice, at an additional cost.

If you are unsure about the possibility of a specific piano to be delivered, due to restricted access and/or stairwork, an on-site assesment service is available prior to delivery, at an additional charge.
